Clowns, Zen and My Birthday

Yes, you sons of bitches, I've made it another year, today is my birthday. One year closer to shitting myself in an old folks home, and having a guy named Leon giving me a sponge bath. I wanted to celebrate tonight, but any kind of liquor is most definitely out of the question. No seriously, I don't drink. Last time I did, which was a couple of months ago, this happened. Seriously, these are the voicemails I left my wife while she was back up in Canada for a week. She was both amused and not amused. I post them here as both a self humiliation and as a powerful reminder not to drink EVER AGAIN!

So, since booze is out, I decided that I'm going full clown this year. Several years ago Roshi Bernie Glassman attempted to start a trend of mix Zen and clowns. I don't think it caught on so much, which is why I wanted to pick up the mantle of 'Clown Zen' and try to re-spark that romance just a bit for my birthday. Below are some clown suits and art work I've found and created that I think all the boys and girls will find exciting and joyful, and aren't in the least bit creepy or disturbing, honestly! I eve made a video at the very bottom, which is the outfit I believe I'll be going with this evening for my debutante debut. What do you all think?

Smile you motherfuckers, don't be so serious!.....Oh, such a bad punny reference.

Dinner Time!

This is the look I give the dentist when he asks if I floss.

Here is me riding a scooter to Dairy Queen.

A poster I placed up all around the hallways inside a Children's hospital nearby.

In this picture, I am attempting to bridge the gap between the convert and Asian Buddhist communities.
"Some candy for zazen little boy?"

This is my Lars from Metallica clown face.

Can't go wrong with Pennywise for dinner at Chucky Cheese.

I'm lovin' it!

I think this is the good Rev. Danny Fisher without his makeup.

Once again, the race relations publicity stunt turned out rather badly.

"Jesus Christ! Why don't you guys laugh sometimes......you silly motherfuckers? Always so serious and shit!"
