DoM - Not having menstrual sex? Misogynist!

One important item of interest that I will be addressing quite often is what I talked about in my last post, the demonization of men. I’ll place up in the title DoM to denote when a post is discussing this, in case folks were wondering.

Jill, from the very popular blog Feministe wrote a post yesterday decrying men who don’t have sexual intercourse with a woman while she is menstruating as not only misogynist, but also as people to be thought less of as human beings. No, I'm serious....She writes:
"I have met a grand total of one dude in my entire life who was like “no” on the period sex (for the record, he wasn’t saying no in the moment; it was a general conversation, not a negotiation). His reasoning was “it’s gross.” And when I stopped seeing him approximately 24 hours after that conversation, my reasoning was, “I don’t want to be with someone who thinks that a natural, healthy uterus-having body is gross.” Do you have a right to refuse to have period sex because you think bleeding vaginas be nasty? Of course. And do I have a right to leave your ass and think less of you because of that? You betcha. Because it does come down to misogyny, basically — most pre-menopausal people with uteruses and vaginas who are old enough to consent to sex bleed once a month."
Let me get this straight, if a man, for what ever reason, doesn't enjoy sex while a woman is menstrating, then that somehow equals (misogyny) hating females? More importantly, as Jill thinks, this also makes them less of a person because of it. Isn't this a bit of a petty thing to hate men over, or to think less of them as humans? So what, some guys just don't like sex during that time period (pun kind of intended), that doesn't make them evil, women hating bastards worthy only of contempt. Unfortunately, this is just further evidence of the increasing demonization of men coming from certain radical elements within the feminist community. Some women won't have sex with men for various reasons, one being that the man isn't circumcised. This doesn't make the woman a misandric, why should it be different for a man?

The ironic thing about this all, is this writers ability to play the victim role, but at the exact same time label men as women hating assholes for not performing a sexual act when she wants it preformed. Think about this if the roles were reversed for a second; demanding sex from a partner or spouse by using emotional guilt or making them feel less of a person when they don't want to, or aren't in the mood? I believe this is also called hypocrisy. She continues:
"Basically, dudes who have sex with women and think period sex is disgusting are the brothers-in-badnews-sexytime with people who think oral sex is gross. Don’t like normally-functioning vaginas? Then you should be disallowed from fucking them."
I, for one love cunnilingus, but what does one have to do with the other? The answer is nothing except for the demonization of men.
